About Julene
Julene Toews Dewis develops leadership programs, custom training solutions and performance resources for organizations across Canada. She has a focus on understanding key business needs and finding the right solution to improve employee and organizational performance.
Julene began her career as an accomplished facilitator and learning specialist after working in sales and service with Credit Unions across Canada. With a keen eye for noticing the link between organizational challenges and employee performance, she quickly moved from retail sales to training and development where she led the execution of customer service, sales and leadership programs.
As a facilitator, Julene makes participants feel comfortable. She facilitates in a way that keeps them engaged and having a little fun. Her program design is flexible and efficient as she uses face-to-face workshops as well as web-based learning platforms to deliver customized programs that suit diverse organizational needs.
Julene helps people access their own strengths and achieve greater success in their workplaces. She works with each client – from HR departments to work teams to CEOs – to help them find clarity and connection to make workplaces healthier and happier.
To complement her experience, Julene completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Manitoba as well as earning her CTDP (Certified Training and Development Professional). She is certified to facilitate DiSC and The 5 Behaviours of Cohesive Teams, which are often intertwined in her leadership programs.
Julene lives in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and enjoys filling her calendar with every opportunity to spend time with family and friends.
